Alice is an artist and illustrator from Aylesford. Nova Scotia Landscape pieces are her specialty but she loves exploring other creative concepts.
Originally from Tremont, she comes from a family of very talented artists. There was always drawing, creating, or performing in her household. She officially started her professional art career back in 2016. Alice and her husband, Pascal, opened a popular little spot in Greenwood called Pascalice's Bistro, where they specialize in serving Swiss style cuisine. There, she would adorn the walls of their little space with her personalized paintings, and found her first collectors. Since then, she has had the honor of having her work displayed in local galleries, shops, and businesses all throughout Nova Scotia.
Alice also hand draws illustration pieces digitally, and goes under the name, Little Bluenose Illustrations. She is motivated by storytelling, connection to community, and a sense of place. Connection with her audience is very important to Alice and she regularly shares her work through local markets, exhibitions, and community collaborations. Alice hopes her work offers the viewer a moment of calm, thoughtful reflection, and happiness.
